I wanted to make sure I tried almost everything off the menu and that's not just because everything I had was amazing and I just wanted to keep eating here! The taco hazz green chili and cheese asada burrito is my new favorite thing to eat. This place gets it right in its simplicity, just meat, tortillas, beans, cheese and salsa. I had the papa loko which was a baked potato covered with carne asada, bacon, onions and chilies. I went home and took a nap after it. It was so filling. I feel the quality of the meat and the amount is perfect for the price and the red salsa is flavorful and spicy. I mean there's four other burrito places in the neighborhood and I only want to go here now. This place can get really busy and the salsa bar is a little small for the amount of people. They should have two one on each side of the register but they keep the one well stocked and clean, and that's my other takeaway. This place has good service. There's always somebody cleaning. There's always plenty of people cooking and plenty of people taking orders. It seems like it's run pretty tight.
This is hands down the best Taco spot I've been to in AZ, their pastor is bar none the best, the asada is also some of the best I've had, I also was never really a fan of Cabeza tacos but theirs are killer, I can't recommend this place enough oh and their prices are some of the best as well.
If you want real tacos, it's time to try the best . I have been going to Ta'Carbon for years and have tried MANY places all over PHX. People like many places for many reasons and I do respect that. However, when my and my family go out to eat we look at several factors... Flavor, atmosphere, pricing and the final one is value which is the combination of all these. Ta'Carbon offers a wide variety of meats, carne asada, tripitas, barbacoa, cabeza, lengua and the famous Haz taco ( meat with melted cheese and chile verde ) prices are 3.15 x tacos which is great and the meat is fresh, delicious and tacos are a good size I usually can only eat 2 plus we order a side of beans and tortillas with a side of charbroiled green onions OMG . Well let me tell you, recently they added a papa loca and i've seen multiple tik toks for overpriced ones that add useless fillers like sour cream, salsa and avocado just to make it look bigger. Well, one of the best things is that Ta'Carbon does not and this apply to burritos too. It's only meat and you add everything else in the salsa bar. The papa loca it's a shareable meal for at least 2 people. IT is HUGE and so delicious, but enough words let me show you videos and pictures from our outing. THE BALD THRUTH is, Ta'Carbon is an excellent value with great food in a huge location which is well kept, cleaned Everytime we go and at great prices. There is a reason why this place is ranked as a top Sonoran Food restaurant by USA TODAY, perhaps it's time you give it a try.
The inside of Taco Cabanas get packed very quickly the meat they have is pretty much just stay in day out all made over Mesquite and it is delicious some of the best tacos I have had their beans are actually really good to refried beans a little on the runny side but still delicious the open salad bar in condiment bar is always fresh always cold they have ice cold sodas they have beer I think bottle of course and it is delicious one of my favorite places to go it is not cheap but then if you want the good stuff be ready and willing to pay for it which I am cruise by Taco Cabana and trout off for yourself I am quite positive you will enjoy it. My apologies for not having any photos to post of my said tacos but they were so delicious I inhaled them in a matter of minutes I almost bit my own finger off.
Excellent Mexican food This was my first time at Ta Carbon. I have to say it's already one of my favorite places. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The service is great also. I just had a little trouble understanding the cashiers English, but it was no big deal. Outstanding. I don’t leave reviews.... Asada Quesadilla, Asada tacos, bean burritos. Food was delicious. Red sauce all three unique heat and flavors. Green salsa also. Ate here three times in one week figured it was worth leaving a review
Absolutely Fantastic food. The sidebar is amazing. I just moved here and I found a regular spot for sure. If it's your first time, make sure you get lots of extra tortillas.Prices are very reasonable Cheap beer too!!! It's hard to move a long way from home. Places like this are what makes it a little easier. 12/10
